Language Check
  • We create a Visual Thinking about the future tense with the information in the language checks. 

Present simple with future meaning

  • I am studying this evening.

  • We are travelling next January.

Future form: ‘will do’

  • I think it will rain later in the afternoon.

  • The rain will last all afternoon.

  • The weatherman will give us the forecast for today.

Future form: "will be"

  • There will be light showers tomorrow morning.

  • The afternoon will be mostly sunny with clear skies.

  • There will probably be lightning and thundering too.

  • Tomorrow will be a nice day to go swimming.
