The Origin of the Visual Thinking
Task 1
Do you know which are the main elements of Visual Thinking? How do you create one?
There are several elements that we must know to create visual maps.
One of them is COLOUR
Task 2
Read aloud the following colours (PNL):
Write the colour you hear, letter by letter.
We review the colours, and answer the following questions:
Do you know the origin of green?

Do you know the origin of orange?
​
Do you know the origin of purple?
Other colours:
(light blue, dark blue or deep blue)
Spelling some colours:
Can you spell scarlet?
Can you spell turquoise?
Task 3
Another important elements are the drawing of PEOPLE, OBJECTS and PLACES.
So, we are going to create a mini visual dictionary about school language.

First, we watch the video of Sesame street

Then, in the big group, we brainstorm and write on the board in three columns: person/ objects/ places.

We watch around the class and each group writes four sentences with these words, expressing quantity.

e.g: There is a teacher in the class/ There aren´t any atlases.

Next, we distribute the words among the groups and they will have to create a banner with the name and the picture to stick in the class.

It's time to get fun: play the Games: Idiotest.
We remember the articles and quantifiers, and there is/are to do the previous task.
Task 6
We do the exercises in Milton, A2 unit 18 "School days" (5%)
